Dean Joanisse has been curling since the age of 9 and was Canadian Junior Champion in 1989 and BC Provincial Men's Champion twice, in 2001 and 2007 so you know his passion for curling runs deep. That passion, however, doesn't end on the ice. Born and raised on Vancouver Island he was naturally drawn to the beauty of nature so it may be no surprise that this brilliant artist would combine his two loves.
